The Hardest Fun You Will Ever Have!

We are the Cybergnomes team 2013, a community-based robotics team comprised of high school-aged students from Simcoe County. We participate in the FIRST ROBOTICS program (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), which annually holds the First Robotics Competition. Each season we build a robot to perform a set of tasks to complete a game. Being part of a robotics team offers many benefits, such as access to many positive and unique experiences, development of skills such as public speaking and collaboration, as well as hard skills in engineering and much more. In addition to the high school-aged team-, we also have two VEX programs one geared towards students aged 8-13 and another, the Cybergirls, for girls aged 8-18. They assemble a robot to complete a number of tasks to compete in local competitions.
